I'm 16 and making since 5 months my theroy and praxis in PPL-A flying after starting with 13 on Gliders i made my GPL with 14 and my PPL-B for UL's ( Ultra lights ) last summer . I hope to make in a few years also my ATPL , but if not , the PPL-A is enough ...
everyone who plans to make a PPL , check the fares! For example there are dozens flyingschools ( the cheapest took 9900 eruo the most expensive 13000 ) , so check the fares before signing an contract for PPL
btw, if you pay more then 9000 euros for PPL-A and more then 10 hrs are on a small prop like C152 they are tricking you , cus the C152 never gets when the rest hours are on C172 the total price
